What is Flexbox?
The Flexible Box Module, usually referred to as Flexbox, was designed as a one-dimensional layout model. It offers space distribution between items in an interface and powerful alignment capabilities.
Main Axis vs Cross Axis
Flexbox operates on two axes:
- Main Axis: Defined by `flex-direction` (row or column). Properties like `justify-content` align items along this axis.
- Cross Axis: Runs perpendicular to the main axis. Properties like `align-items` position items along this axis.
